If there is one thing that I struggle with, it’s working out on a regular basis. I know I need to do it. I know it makes me feel fantastic. I know it makes me look amazing. But…I just can’t seem to commit to it.
Well, over the course of the past 1 ½ months, I’ve been working with an online personal trainer & I’ve actually been consistent with sticking to a daily exercise routine. I’m down 10 pounds and I’ve noticed a few incredible ways that becoming more fit has helped me become a better business women.
4 Major Benefits:
- Working out gives me boundless energy!!! As a result, I’ve been able to redirect some of that energy to accomplishing more of my business goals. I notice that when I work out in the evenings, I can’t fall asleep at night….So I try to work out in the mornings so that I don’t have all this extra energy keeping me up. For anyone looking to kick their coffee dependency, try sticking to a fitness regimen and you may find that you no longer NEED the coffee.
- I’ve become more Productive. This one kind of goes hand in hand with having more energy. But because I had more fuel to function on throughout the day, I was finally able to organize my daily routine so that I’m more productive and efficient.
- My Brain Fog disappeared. I’ve struggled with having brain fog for the last couple of years. If you’ve never experienced it, it might sound a little crazy to you. When your brain is foggy, your thoughts aren’t clear and you literally feel like you can’t think. Since I’ve been working out more, I feel like it went away. Because it’s gone, I feel like I’ve become a super creative powerhouse.
- I’m happier. When I wasn’t working out, I was on this slippery slope of feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and sometimes discouraged. I love being able to work from home, but when you have so much time to work on growing your business and you still aren’t making progress you desire…it’s a little annoying. I’m also a little bit of a worrier, so that keeps my stress levels higher that they need to be. Since I’ve been working out, I notice that I feel great every day. It’s probably a combination of the endorphins, that fact that I’m now as productive as I’d like to be, and that I’m not as stressed out as before.
My daily exercise routine has probably improved my business life in a few more, but these are the most significant ones that come to mind now. Do you have a fitness routine?
